As the Medical Director, you will divide your time between administrative responsibilities and clinical shifts. You will manage the ED provider schedule, supervise, direct and mentor ED providers and staff, and provide clinical oversight of the hospital owned EMS service. You will prioritize quality care and manage the Quality Improvement program. Teaching opportunities are available when medical students and residents from Portland and Boston rotate to the hospital. ED providers enjoy a comfortable schedule averaging 12 shifts/month with a mix of days (7a-7p), swing (10a-8p) and nights (7p-7a).
