Augusta: We invite a sharp ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON to join the established 10-surgeon team practicing in Maine’s newest hospital – a 190-bed regional medical center in the state capital city, just 50 minutes from Portland. You will practice in a group with 4 Orthopaedic Surgeons who perform Total Joint replacements – 2 of whom plan to retire soon. Bangor: A 400-bed regional tertiary care center seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join a well-established, hospital-employed team in Maine’s third largest city. You will take over a 100% established elective practice performing at least 500 surgeries annually – with no ER/trauma call. This physician-led, nonprofit medical center is part of Maine’s second-largest health system, serving more than 500,000 residents across northern and eastern Maine. The hospital is a Level II trauma center and home to an unopposed Family Medicine Residency, offering teaching opportunities for interested physicians.
